Simon Moores, Managing Director, Benchmark Mineral Intelligence said:

“We have decided to make this decision for all our events and any form of in-person meetings we host that are scheduled for first half of the calendar year.

The unprecedented scale of the coronavirus, now confirmed as a pandemic, is becoming clear and our responsibilities as a company mean that we cannot facilitate or encourage any form of gatherings, whether this is for five or 500 people, in this time of uncertainty.

This is a global pandemic that no one alive has seen the likes of and we have not taken this decision lightly.

We thank all of our customers for their understanding in these truly unique times and trust they understand that the safety of everyone is our paramount priority.

This decision was made on expert advice, especially from the World Health Organization and the UK Government, trusted data sources and our own on-the-ground sources in each country where we host events.

We wish everyone safety and good health for the coming weeks and months.”
