The US government has begun to develop a strategy for building its lithium ion economy this month with the delivery of the White House’s 100-day supply chain review and the publication of a national battery blueprint by the Federal Consortium for Advanced Batteries (FCAB).
Both documents, which utilise Benchmark data, set out the US government’s vision, recommendations, and action points for its domestic lithium ion battery supply chain – from the raw material through to component and final application.
