"It is a significant and very sad moment for the UK motoring world. 

"Quentin was one of the industry’s true giants - a huge supporter of electric vehicles and building a supply chain from mine to battery here in the UK and in Europe.

"His legacy will continue to inspire new generations to enter an industry that is driving the technological and sustainable shift to electric vehicles and energy storage.
